USA Shipments ONLY  

Sorry, we don't ship to Canada, Australia or NZ

Our German products are imported from Germany from different exclusive importers. 

 

HANDLING TIME
2-4 business days to pack and ship (it also can happen faster). If an item is out of stock, you can pre-order it and it may take up to 14 days until it gets shipped. The products have to be ordered from the importer and this can take some time.

Should you need your order right away, please select next day or two-day shipping and send us an email after the check out. 

PRE-ORDERS
Seasonal products are available only in limited quantities eg. Christmas items or new product introductions. You can pre-order these items regularly in the shop. Even we have them not quite in stock you can make your selection. We recommend this because eg for Christmas many items can be sold out if you wait too long to order them.

SHIPPING 
With UPS and USPS.

You can select the option when going through the checkout process. 
The shipping time varies and can be from 2-6 business days depending on your location.
We are conveniently located in the middle of the USA, in Tennessee. Still shipping to California or Oregon will take between 5 business days (or longer especially during the holiday season).
At this time we don't ship perishable items like sausages or frozen products. 

IMPORTANT: LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

It can happen that packages will get damaged or get lost during transit. We do our best to make sure your order arrives. Make sure you keep the notification email with the shipping tracking link. It will be sent to you right after the order had been completed and is ready for shipping.

UPS

Every package comes with a link and as soon as the package is being shipped you receive the Tracking link via email. Make sure to watch out for it.
But it can happen that packages will be lost or damaged by the carrier.

In such a case you need to do following:

You start a claim for packages that have been lost or damaged, or if a collect on delivery payment was not received: 

  • Loss: 
    You can file a claim on a package if it has not been delivered 24 hours after the expected delivery date and time. Before filing a claim, be sure you’ve checked all exterior doors and other locations where the package could be placed, including the porch, back patio, garage, and any area out of potential weather hazards. You should also check with anyone who might have retrieved the package. Or maybe a neighbor got it. If you’re still unable to locate the package, you as the intended receiver must initiate a claim.
  • Damaged: The receiver can initiate a claim on a damaged package. See below.
  • Uncollected C.O.D.: A package is considered uncollectible if C.O.D. (collect on delivery) funds are not paid. Only the shipper of record can report an uncollected C.O.D. claim.

USPS

If you sent a package inside the U.S. that was lost, damaged, or had broken or missing pieces and it was covered by insurance, learn how to file an "indemnity claim." Your insurance may have been included with the USPS® service or purchased separately. Eligible items include:

  • Priority Mail Express® items and other insured mail
  • Collect on Delivery (COD) items
  • Registered Mail® items with insurance

As soon as you have filed the claim and got reimbursed fully for the amount of the lost package by USPS or UPS you can place another order. All other attempts from our side have failed in the past as we didn't get reimbursed for lost packages where it was clear it was an UPS or USPS error.

Please check the tracking link that will be sent to you right after the box has shipped. You will exactly see when you can expect the delivery.

SUMMER MONTHS June - Oct
During the hot summer months from June-October we don't ship chocolates or any products that can be negatively affected by the heat.
Every order comes with a tracking number and after the order has shipped this tracking code will be emailed to you. 
We always will get the best possible shipping service for you. It can happen that you choose UPS for shipping but when we do the shipping process we may send it per USPS First Class as suggested by our shopping system.  

PLEASE NOTE:
We are not responsible for events that are outside of our control, such as carrier errors or delays, customer address errors, customer's failure to provide safe and accessible delivery location, customer's failure to cool certain products upon arrival, theft, disaster, loss, etc.  

HOLIDAY SEASON

During the holiday season (October-Mid December) packaging  and shipping may take longer (between 4-5 business days). 

Please order in advance.

We are not responsible for ANY holiday packages that are  delayed by USPS or UPS during the holiday season Oct 1st - Dec 31.
